About the Author

Micah Melling has worked in the technology industry for over a decade, serving in leadership roles for most of that time. Micah holds undergraduate degrees in business management and economics, and he also earned a master’s degree in data science. He has taught and developed graduate-level technology courses, served on the analytics advisory board for a major Division I institution, and served on a statewide committee for technology education standards. Additionally, he has authored a data science textbook (this!) and a speculative fiction novel about AI and society.
