About the Author

Micah Melling is the Chief Data Scientist at Americo Financial Life and Annuity, one of the largest life insurance companies in the the United States, and Imperial Premium Finance, the largest premium finance company in the country. Micah formerly led data science at Spring Venture Group, the largest direct-to-consumer seller of Medicare Supplement insurance. He also previously worked as a data analyst for Edelman, a large marketing firm, performing analytics for companies such as Hewlett Package, eBay, and SC Johnson.

Micah graduated from the University of Central Missouri in 2015 with a BSBA, double-majoring in economics and business management. In the summer of 2016, he completed Georgetown University’s Professional Certificate in Data Science. In 2020, he obtained a Masters in Data Science from Rockhurst University.
